About the Role
Lead the protection and management of Indigenous and Historic heritage across a major infrastructure project, providing expert heritage advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing heritage risks.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert heritage advice.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage heritage risks.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, Aboriginal stakeholders, and regulators to deliver positive heritage outcomes safely and responsibly.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Archaeology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
- Experience reviewing complex technical reports and management plans.
- Proficient in GIS for environmental planning and management.
- Understanding of environmental and social impacts of major infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing compliance on State Significant Infrastructure (SSI) projects.
- Experience managing environmental consultants and specialist services.
- Current driver licence.
