About the Role
Lead a team of Disability Support Workers, supervising client service delivery in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. Ensure clients maximize choice and control, and employees provide safe and compliant services. This permanent Full Time role focuses on strength-based practice and empowerment within the disability sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and provide advice and supervision to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure staff are skilled and knowledgeable in the delivery of supports.
- Collaborate, develop and maintain person-centred support approaches.
- Manage the running of services including budgets, compliance and staff ratios.
- Collaborate with key business partners to ensure consistent delivery of a positive service.
- Manage, monitor and report on incidents and complaints.
- Participate in an on-call roster.
Requirements
- Experience in a leadership position within the delivery of services to people with a disability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and database systems.
- Current Australian unrestricted Drivers Licence.
- Established influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think creatively and use initiative.
- Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
