About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, contributing to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Handling billing procedures for private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
Requirements
- A strong background in customer service or reception.
Skills
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
