About the Role
Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to clients in Delaware and Chester County, specifically around the Lincoln University area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free client home environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and errands.
- Provide personal care, including bathing and grooming.
- Offer companionship and friendship to seniors.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, staff, and the office.
- Perform all necessary non-medical home care services.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Complete or be able to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray.
- Pass background checks and drug screening.
- Provide proof of vaccination.
- Have at least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and upbeat attitude with a love for the senior community.
Skills
- Dementia / ALZ care experience is a plus.
