About the Role
Shift Leaders are hands-on leaders who set the tone for every shift, leading by example, working side-by-side with the team, and ensuring every guest walks out impressed. This role is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and want to grow their career.
Responsibilities
- Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
- Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room
- Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience
- Coach, support, and motivate crew members
- Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
- Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
- Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
Requirements
- 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
- A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
- Someone who leads by doing—not just directing
- Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and comfort using POS systems
- Food safety certification (such as ServSafe) preferred
