About the Role

As part of the Global Enterprise Operations organization, the successful individual will play a pivotal role in APAC Workplace, leading the Workplace teams across our ANZ region. This team is focused on providing an efficiently run, safe, amazing, inspiring, and consistent experience for our colleagues, visitors and partners. The main responsibilities of the Workplace team is to create an excellent and best-in-class Workplace environment and experience to enable our Netflix employees to do the best work of their lives and to help drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be a strategic and thought leader that’s highly adaptable, proactive and resourceful in leading a diverse team in delivering a stunning Workplace experience for our employees and visitors in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the ANZ Workplace Strategy: Anchor local Workplace programs to our Global Enterprise Operations vision and Northstar, translating high-level strategy and priorities into high-impact regional and local execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior regional and global functional leaders. Develop a deep understanding of the ANZ business trajectory to proactively project and solve for space, trend, and cultural requirements.
  • Elevate Workplace Communications: Take end-to-end ownership of internal Workplace communications. Provide operational status updates with high-context, strategic storytelling that drives organizational alignment and information sharing.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Partner tightly across Enterprise Operations functions (Portfolio Management, Program Delivery, EHS, Food & Beverage, Events, and Enterprise Security) to deliver impactful Workplace experiences and programs on the ground. Proactively engage with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to help scale culture.
  • Decision-Making: Comfortable being the "Informed Captain", leveraging business intel to make local decisions, navigating the grey, and translating global guidance into local best practices.
  • Build and Lead a Dream Team: Lead, manage, and inspire an agile, inclusive team of internal FTEs and key strategic partners. Drive a robust feedback culture that enables innovation and scale.
  • Operational Excellence: Deliver exceptional Workplace services - spanning building operations, food & beverage, event execution, and Workplace programming - ensuring our physical environments reinforce Enterprise Operations Northstar and help scale Netflix culture.
  • Environmental Health and Safety: Champion a highly visible, proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) framework. Safeguard employee well-being and maintain strict compliance while consciously avoiding bureaucratic friction.
  • Execute Agile Workplace Planning: Partner with Enterprise Operations on Workplace initiatives and evolving business priorities, including office expansions, neighborhood planning, relocations, restacks, and densification projects, dynamically optimizing space efficiency and utilization.
  • Manage Commercial Assets & Vendor Partnerships: Manage critical landlord relationships and the performance of Workplace strategic partners and vendors. Maintain overall accountability for budget forecasting, cost optimization, and risk management.

  • Know when to execute with speed and when to introduce strategic friction to protect long-term portfolio health.
  • An analytical thinker who looks past raw metrics to transform data points (such as Workplace utilization and attendance patterns) into strategic business insights for senior leadership.
  • Ensure the vibe of the office reflects the Netflix Culture.
  • Be the ambassador of the employee experience, focusing on high-impact hospitality touchpoints.
  • A strong understanding of studio environments and content production operational nuances is a distinct plus.
  • Understand the unique, fast-paced operational nuances of a production Workplace versus a corporate streaming environment, and possess the agility and experience to manage both.
