About the Role
This position is responsible for formulating Accenture's growth strategy and executing M&A strategies. You will analyze and execute corporate acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures, and joint venture formations to achieve Accenture's growth objectives. This high-profile role requires exceptional drive, advanced financial and analytical skills, experience in financial modeling and due diligence, and project management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and executing business unit growth plans in collaboration with business unit leadership and growth strategy teams.
- Support market research and specific acquisition target identification.
- Assist in devising approach strategies for potential target companies to understand strategic rationale and synergies.
- Conduct research and competitive/market analysis to identify acquisition targets.
- Create business cases reflecting company valuations and deal structures.
- Support negotiations with stakeholders throughout the M&A deal process.
- Support communication regarding governance and decision-making with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global corporate functions to execute and support due diligence processes.
- Evaluate strategic and cultural fit, financial impact, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in formulating post-merger integration (PMI) plans and identify key success factors throughout the M&A process from both business and corporate perspectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other business-related field preferred).
- Relevant work experience.
- Understanding of the three financial statements, and skills/experience in financial analysis and modeling.
- Understanding of corporate valuation and management strategy.
- Research and analytical skills (industry analysis, competitor analysis, company research, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Business-level or higher Japanese and English proficiency (experience working in a global environment is a plus).
- Schedule coordination skills.
