About the Role
BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor in Midtown, NY, to motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. This role offers an exciting leadership opportunity within a dynamic team, focusing on training, mentoring, and advanced veterinary skills in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
- Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs.
- Seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
- Work with hospital leadership to organize team huddles and meetings.
- Assist Vet Tech Managers with managing schedules for technician and assistant staff.
- Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
- Provide feedback to leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary/Compensations
- $33.00 - $51.50 / hour
- Competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr. Shift Differential
