About the Role

HireRight is seeking a motivated and curious Product Manager to own a product area from strategy through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for a PM comfortable with both existing product improvement and new product development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs with longer-term strategic goals.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
  • Partner with engineering and design on discovery, solution design, and delivery.
  • Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to uncover pain points and gather feedback.
  • Analyze product usage, operational data, and market signals to identify opportunities and prioritize.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer success for smooth launches and product adoption.
  • Track key product metrics and report progress, learnings, and next steps to leadership.
  • Contribute to a strong product culture by sharing insights and participating in team rituals.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a product or feature area.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
  • Track record of shipping meaningful product improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to align stakeholders and articulate trade-offs clearly.
  • Comfort working with data to inform decisions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile environments alongside engineering and design.
  • A customer-first mindset: regularly seek out user feedback and let it shape your thinking.
