About the Role

The Trade Compliance Analyst will support and execute key aspects of Marvell's global export compliance program, focusing on product, software, and technology classification under U.S. and international regulations. This role also involves overseeing the visitor policy, managing the deemed export system, supporting trade due diligence, and contributing to key projects for the Global Trade Compliance team.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute key aspects of Marvell's global export compliance program.
• Support classification of products, software, and technology under applicable U.S. and international export and customs regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the visitor policy.
• Manage the deemed export system.
• Support trade due diligence efforts.
• Support key projects for the Global Trade Compliance team.
• Maintain and follow compliance processes, training, audit and self-assessment programs, and related documentation.
• Support implementation of program enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance covering both export and classification compliance matters.
• Experience applying U.S. and other applicable trade regulations to business operations, R&D activities, and technical data.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the classification requirements of products, software, and technology under U.S. and other applicable regulations.
• Experience with export control classification under the EAR (including ECCN determination) and HS/HTS classification for customs purposes.
• Experience preparing CCATS requests and/or export license applications.
• Ability to follow, develop and document processes and procedures, and solution enhancements when needed.
• Strong independent judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams.
• Familiar with AI tools and/or willing to learn to use AI tools to support trade compliance activities.
• English fluency.
• Team-oriented and client-focused approach with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Flexibility to support global operations across time zones when necessary.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable law.
• May be subject to an export license review process prior to employment.
