About the Role
Support the Investments, Analytics, and Development team in hospitality real estate investing, focusing on financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analysis of investment opportunities, including detailed pro-forma models.
- Analyze competitive properties and review market supply/demand fundamentals.
- Assist with due diligence for potential investments.
- Analyze performance of portfolio investments regularly.
- Conduct specialized research into specific aspects of a hotel’s business.
- Prepare investment memoranda and assist senior professionals with presentations.
- Support senior professionals in communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience researching, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from market data, real estate values, and economic trends.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry financial statements, metrics, and data sources (e.g., STR reports) is preferred.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
