About the Role

HERE is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join their EMEA Sales team. This role is critical for expanding the company's SaaS footprint within SME organizations across various industries, including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Metals & Mining, and Utilities. The Sales Director will focus on driving new business, building pipelines, and expanding within existing client firms. Success will be measured by organically generating a significant pipeline, effectively communicating the Enterprise SaaS value proposition, and managing a high volume of opportunities. This is an individual contributor role focused on selling within the UK and Continental Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong pipeline with a focus on new logos through proactive prospecting, effective contact initiation, strategic account networking, and strong qualification skills.
  • Leverage personal network and sales technology/AI tools to drive efficiency and deliver value-led sales messaging.
  • Meet sales quota and drive success by executing sales campaigns and achieving annual sales targets using a robust, measurable sales process (MEDDICC).
  • Effectively communicate opportunity progression.
  • Cultivate and sustain valuable client relationships throughout the complete sales cycle.
  • Develop comprehensive insights into security, productivity, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation to align HERE's solution with customer needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and technology to confidently communicate the value proposition to senior stakeholders.
  • Represent HERE at industry events and assist with lead generation strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of direct SME SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience selling across at least two or more industries such as financial services, manufacturing, metals & mining, and/or energy.
  • Confident command selling to the UK and Continental Europe, with a focus on UK, Ireland, France, Germany and/or Spain.
  • Prior experience selling enterprise-level platform tools.
  • Experience independently generating pipeline from proactive outreach.
  • Proven track record for generating and closing a higher volume of deals within direct sales.
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts and articulating the value proposition to align with customer priorities.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder communications and drive a sales process from start to finish.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and interest in both technology and the product mission.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Business proficiency speaking a second European language is preferred.
