About the Role
Join La Squadra as a Junior & Sous Chef in Barcelona and become a leader and future Chef within the Big Mamma Group. This role involves contributing to menu creation, ensuring culinary excellence, and managing kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in menu changes with Executive Chefs to create a unique culinary experience.
- Ensure speed and precision at the pass.
- Guarantee every dish is perfect, adhering to recipes and Group standards.
- Support the Chef in maintaining impeccable hygiene standards and staff oversight.
- Manage Food Cost by minimizing waste, conducting accurate inventories, and timely ordering.
- Plan, organize, and lead the kitchen brigade with energy and precision.
- Train and mentor the team daily, instilling passion and professionalism.
- Foster a harmonious and stimulating work environment through effective leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food cost management.
