About the Role

The AWS Executive Briefing Program is seeking an Executive Briefing Concierge to support onsite operations at their Executive Briefing Center in Midtown Manhattan. This role is crucial in creating a seamless, world-class experience for AWS’s executive-level customers by managing onsite logistics and ensuring spaces are perfectly prepared for engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Executive Briefing Center is customer-ready at all times.
  • Prepare and set up executive briefing resources, including printed materials, supplies, and swag.
  • Greet guests and visitors at the EBC Concierge Welcome Desk, provide coat and luggage storage, and escort them to their briefing rooms.
  • Set up briefing rooms prior to each briefing.
  • Partner with onsite support teams (Protective Services, Catering, AV) to resolve ad hoc needs.
  • Manage briefing supply inventory, maintain organized storage areas, and communicate reordering needs to the EBC Concierge Lead.
  • Maintain small plant life around Welcome Desks.
  • Break down briefing rooms after each briefing.
  • Assist Briefing Program Managers with inputting catering and transportation requests.
  • Lead tours of the Executive Briefing Center.
  • Perform additional duties as determined by the EBC Concierge Team Lead or EBC Site Lead.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in hospitality, international relations, marketing, or equivalent related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume customer-facing role.
  • Customer service skills with executives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to be consistently on-site at the Executive Briefing Center in NYC, NY.
  • Experience in luxury customer-focused hotels/resorts and/or luxury restaurants is preferred.
  • Proven record of cross-team collaboration and ability to influence decision-making.
  • Creative problem solver is preferred.
  • Experience managing a shared team Outlook inbox in addition to their own is preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon Chime, Slack, and WorkDocs is preferred.
  • Must be able to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies, up to 50 pounds.
  • May need to carry supplies to other buildings.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods (up to 8 hours per workday).
  • Ability to move consistently within a 1.5 radius is required.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to see both distance and details at close range (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).

  • $41.12 - $44.39 per hour
  • $41.12 - $51.83 per hour
