About the Role
The Recruiter is responsible for efficient and successful recruiting for multiple locations and business units to support the company’s operational hiring needs. This individual will collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth recruitment process from application to initial background and onboarding steps.
Responsibilities
- Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), and administers appropriate assessments.
- Conducts reference and background checks.
- Makes recommendations for hire and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions.
- Serves as a recruiting expert for an assigned territory and business category.
- Utilizes traditional and nontraditional resources to identify, attract, and source quality candidates.
- Develops advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback on the recruiting process.
- Communicates important employment information during offer delivery, including benefits, compensation, and noncompete agreements.
- Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Travels to nearby facilities once a week.
Requirements
- At least two years of prior recruiting experience.
- Extensive experience in using candidate sourcing tools for recruiting.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.
