About the Role
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. This role supports the Head of Supply Chain in scaling operations from early builds to thousands of vehicles, managing procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier coordination for AV data-collection vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day procurement for various hardware components, tools, and consumables.
- Track open purchase orders, supplier ship dates, inbound logistics, and delivery risks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for high-value serialized hardware and consumables.
- Build and manage VIN-specific kits for vehicle retrofit lines.
- Coordinate line-side replenishment with Vehicle Operations and install technicians.
- Support receiving inspection, scanning, labeling, storage, and inventory audits.
- Manage defective part quarantine, warranty claims, and RMA follow-up.
- Maintain supplier, cost, shipment, and inventory tracking dashboards.
- Partner with Vehicle Operations and QA to investigate part defects and operational blockers.
- Assist in implementing lightweight ERP and asset-tracking processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, vehicle distribution, or related roles within the automotive industry.
- Experience working for an automotive OEM, EV manufacturer, vehicle importer, or automotive distributor.
- Proven experience in Vehicle supply chain management, Demand planning and forecasting, Vehicle ordering and allocation, International shipment coordination, Logistics and 3PL management, Inventory and stock pipeline management, Dealer network support, Supplier management and invoice coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage operational challenges.
