About the Role

This role focuses on developing and driving changes to the Anti-Financial Crimes (AFC) Governance framework in the Americas. You will execute project plans to meet regulatory commitments, design key governance changes, and support the AFC Americas Governance run-the-bank function to enable effective senior management decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate key AFC governance and oversight forums including the AFC Risk Council and various oversight working groups.
  • Produce monthly and ad hoc management information reports for senior management and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Support the escalation, tracking, and follow-up of financial crime risk issues.
  • Partner with Regional and Global AFC Program Owners to ensure consistency across reporting.
  • Lead the end-to-end production and publication of Financial Crime Risk metrics.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of Financial Crime Risk Management Information production using AI-enabled tools.
  • Provide support for internal Group Audit examinations and external regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in AFC, Corporate Governance, or Risk Management.
  • Experience working with senior-level executives and forums.
  • Knowledge of regulatory obligations and industry standards regarding AFC Governance.
  • Understanding of applicable AFC laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Ability to deliver quality execution in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
