About the Role

Westmag offers Internship and Co-op opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in engineering, operations, product development, and business functions. Participants will collaborate with professionals on impactful projects supporting Westmag's mission in drone motor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Support advanced manufacturing of drone motors and robotic actuators on the production floor.
  • Assist with assembly, process documentation, and production-line setup and improvements.
  • Support quality and testing activities to ensure products meet manufacturing standards.
  • Contribute to hands-on production-ramp projects, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant field.
  • Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
  • Previous internship or project-based student org experience (e.g., Formula SAE, Rocketry, Design Build Fly).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of relevant tools or software (CAD, Excel, data analysis) preferred but not required.
