About the Role

Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver for their Rochester, NY location. This is a physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers safely and timely, adhering to Amarr's Driver Handbook policies.
• Maintain driver certification documents for display.
• Assist with warehouse production orders when not driving.
• Accurately load and unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Experience performing warehouse duties in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successful completion of internal Driver Training Program.
• Motor Vehicle report meeting Amarr's driver standards.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
