About the Role

As a Service Assembler I at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service to assemble RF products, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager Service. This is a third shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly of RF products, including soldering, wiring, and component installation, following detailed work instructions and diagrams.
  • Conduct visual inspections of assembled products to identify defects or issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Accurately record assembly processes and any issues encountered during repair.
  • Maintain and clean assembly tools and workstations, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and address any assembly challenges.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0+ years of prior experience in electronic assembly.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Familiarity with RF products or electronic assemblies.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
