About the Role

The Certified Field Service Technician II is responsible for the assembly, preventative maintenance, training, and service on Lottery equipment both in our facility and at the customer location. This position will provide day-to-day maintenance of our Lottery equipment and may train retail employees on equipment usage and functionality. This position will travel to retail locations and may require overnight trips.

Responsibilities

Stage, assemble, and maintain all lottery equipment in accordance with Field Service Standards and procedures.
Perform extensive field repair functions with little or no supervision on SCIQ Lottery equipment.
Perform diagnosis for scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
Interact with customers, retailers, and management.
Train retail employees on the functionality of all lottery equipment.
Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Operate a smart services phone.
Be accountable and responsible to use, maintain, and secure all assigned tools, test equipment, terminals, subassemblies, parts, and supplies.
Communicate problems with management.
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair any lottery equipment problems in accordance with the Field Service Protocol.
Complete site surveys from a field service perspective as well as a marketing placement aspect.
Learn and understand the Instant Product line.
Assist the retail location with any questions or concerns they have with our equipment.
Communicate any new features, games, or products that are supported.
Perform vehicle management on their company-provided vehicle.
Maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with SG’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
Work with other departments in support of site sales and support goals.
Travel to lottery locations.
Travel to corporate locations on an as needed basis.
Perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you are based.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Ability to work in a team-office environment.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
If working in the field, production, and/or warehouse, it is mandatory to use approved Personal Protective Equipment.
May be required to obtain background investigations or security checks, or meet certain standards dictated by law, regulation or contracts.
Shall be asked to consent to SG conducting a due diligence/background investigation.

Bilingual a plus.
