About the Role
Monkey Puzzle Olympia is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their team. The role involves supporting the nursery's growth and performance while ensuring adherence to legislation and EYFS frameworks. You will create inspirational learning environments, ensure child safety and welfare, and implement the EYFS with a strong understanding of child development.
Responsibilities
- Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
- Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
- Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
- Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
- Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
- Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery.
Requirements
- GCSE- grades 5-9/A-C
- Able to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
- Appropriate behaviour management
- Able to participate in child observations and assessments with a good understanding of child development
