Responsibilities
- Support your team to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring adherence to all legislation and EYFS frameworks.
- Engage your team to create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments aligned with children's needs and nursery goals.
- Foster teamwork within a family-feel nursery environment, striving for employee happiness.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
- Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
- Report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
- Partner with parents and other stakeholders to ensure children thrive.
- Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues, and visitors to uphold a happy nursery atmosphere.
- Maintain clear and accurate records and reports.
- Promote high standards of quality in practice, environment, and resources according to nursery expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Safeguarding Knowledge.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.
- Appropriate level of criminal record Disclosure and Barred check required.
- Provide details of all unspent convictions.
