About the Role
The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers. This role involves unloading and delivering products to local customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
- Courteously deliver products to customers.
- Unload and deliver products to local customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have at least 1 plus year CDL Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, OT, and Holidays.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and climb.
