About the Role

Crimson is seeking an exceptional operator and educator to take full ownership of service execution for Crimson Rise, a division supporting 0-14 year-olds. This role involves building the systems that enable outstanding service delivery at scale, leading a visionary team, and making a significant impact on global education standards and student success.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the operational infrastructure that allows Rise to run at scale.
  • Drive implementation of current and upcoming Rise product iterations.
  • Manage revenue retention for current and graduating Rise students.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Rise leadership team and strategy globally.
  • Personally deliver outstanding service to a small portfolio of VIP students.
  • Manage key cross-functional relationships with operations, sales, marketing, competition partners, and Crimson Core.
  • Design infrastructure and implement products, translating Rise product vision into operational systems.
  • Identify gaps in current delivery and design scalable, financially sound solutions.
  • Ensure service changes account for market pricing and are operationally viable before rollout.
  • Build or spec tooling and technology to support Team Leads and Strategists.
  • Design service framework and lead implementation of upcoming product iterations, including the early years product launch.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop Strategists and Team Leads across regions.
  • Drive alignment and cohesive service delivery between Strategists and Tutors/Mentors.
  • Run 1:1s and performance reviews; maintain development plans for direct reports.
  • Monitor student outcomes and consistent delivery across the team.
  • Coach for Rise strategy craft and individual professional growth.
  • Personally manage a small portfolio of VIP students to the highest Rise standard.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of admissions trends, competition strategy, and Rise methodology.
  • Build and sustain trust with the sales team, serving as a credible partner in pre-enrollment conversations.
  • Partner with Crimson Honors, Indigo, and other relevant Crimson Enrichment services.
  • Collaborate with Crimson Core, Crimson Athletics, and other related service teams for smooth transitions and proactive escalation management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from a Top 20 US or Top 20 UK university.
  • 5+ years professional experience, with demonstrated people management responsibility.
  • Proven track record of building operational systems from scratch, or significantly improving existing operational systems.
  • Experience in a client-facing service role with high-expectations clients or families.
  • Ability to personally deliver Crimson Rise (education consulting) at the highest standard, or a credible plan to develop this skill rapidly.
  • Admissions, educational consulting, or academic instructional experience is beneficial.

  • Operational systems design: ability to build KPI frameworks, tracking mechanisms, and training programs from the ground up.
  • People leadership and coaching: can develop and manage a distributed, remote team with varied experience levels.
  • Multi-stakeholder fluency: effective communicator with clients/families, sales teams, contractors, and senior leadership.
  • Directness and early escalation: comfortable surfacing problems before they become crises.
  • Self-directed in ambiguous scenarios.
  • AI/Tech comfort: can use LLMs to spec what needs to be built, work productively with dev teams, and maintain ownership of interim tech solutions.
  • Superior written and oral communication.
