About the Role

Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for a 12-bed inpatient Acute Psychiatric Unit for adults over 65, and support psychiatric services across the campus. Ensure high-quality psychiatric care delivery in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role provides leadership to psychiatric providers, collaborates with executives, and serves as a key physician leader.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative and clinical responsibilities for the 12-bed inpatient geriatric psych unit.
  • Oversee and support psychiatric services across the Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living/Memory Care residences.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative executive leadership to champion quality improvement initiatives, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted California Medical License.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Physical ability to perform standard clinical and administrative duties on an active healthcare campus.

  • $250,000 Base Administrative Salary + Clinical Professional Fees
