About the Role

The Hand Sprayer is responsible for applying materials using a steady and even motion, ensuring quality and productivity. This role requires knowledge of hand spraying equipment and techniques, the ability to measure ingredients accurately, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand and potentially modify Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve productivity and quality.
• Perform hand spraying of materials with a steady and even motion.
• Operate and adjust hand spraying equipment using appropriate techniques.
• Measure quantities of ingredients to match a standard board.
• Follow safety procedures for handling stain.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirator, safety glasses, gloves, arm sleeves, face shield, and hearing protection as needed.
• Assist in other work areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be able to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Experienced in hand spraying materials.
• Knowledgeable of hand spraying equipment and techniques.
• Ability to measure quantities of ingredients.
• Ability to lift approximately 20 to 30 lbs.
• Must pass a respirator fit test/physical for a half mask respirator.
• Must be able to stand and be mobile during the entire shift.
• Cannot be color blind.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull up to 30lbs.
• Ability to work effectively with employees.
• Possess accurate visual focus, field of vision, and color vision.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
