About the Role
As an Account Executive on our Scale Retail team, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working as a relentless “hunter” to identify, prioritize, outreach to and ultimately close new business. You will also have the opportunity to work side-by-side with several Braze customers, operating as a trusted advisor as they look to Braze to grow and scale their business. Join a scaling, diverse, and tight-knit team that’s working directly with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives and their teams to help them forge human connections between consumers and the brands they love.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Identify, prioritize, outreach to, and close new business.
- Work with Braze customers as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives and their teams.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of field sales experience selling SaaS solutions with technically integrated products.
- Ability to generate and manage your own pipeline.
- Strategic and creative thinking to drive outcomes through effective outreach.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts.
- Consultative and human selling approach.
- Strong storytelling and active listening skills.
- Demonstrate value-first conversations, including discovery, understanding business pain, desired outcomes, and Braze's differentiated value.
- Analytical and data-driven approach, grounded in examples and iteration.
- Desire to understand and make sense of complex systems and concepts.
- Ability to help buyers navigate large SaaS investments and mobilize global organizations.
