About the Role
Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo is seeking a Sushi Casual Teammate to perform routine labor in various restaurant and cafe locations. This role offers the opportunity to utilize skills in customer service, team collaboration, adaptability, and determination while making a difference in the campus community.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves food at various stations.
- Cleans, dries, and stores pots and pans.
- Maintains cleanliness of the dish room.
- Washes tables and chairs in the dining area.
- Removes and disposes of trash, and cleans garbage cans.
- Replenishes napkins, silverware, and condiments.
- Cleans toaster and microwave areas.
- Assists with stocking items.
- Assists with sushi creation, rolling, and cutting.
- Follows FIFO rules, plan-o-grams, par sheets, and other inventory rules.
- Understands and follows health codes and policies, including HACCP and sanitation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
