About the Role

Responsible for the overall operations for the assigned nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care and services 24/7. Works with employees and other managers to develop systems, procedures, and provide training and support to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises nursing staff including RN, LPN/LVN, CNA, Nursing Supervisors/Charge Nurses, Unit Secretaries and Telemetry Monitor Technicians.
  • Manages the practice of nursing within the hospital's mission.
  • Participates in the recruitment and hiring of qualified staff.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Critical care experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Salary/Compensations

  • $180,000.00 - $195,000.00
