About the Role
Responsible for the overall operations for the assigned nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care and services 24/7. Works with employees and other managers to develop systems, procedures, and provide training and support to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff including RN, LPN/LVN, CNA, Nursing Supervisors/Charge Nurses, Unit Secretaries and Telemetry Monitor Technicians.
- Manages the practice of nursing within the hospital's mission.
- Participates in the recruitment and hiring of qualified staff.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Critical care experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

- $180,000.00 - $195,000.00
