About the Role
Responsible for planning, management, and execution of Special Projects for the USTA BJK National Tennis Center, including operational plans for US Open After Action projects, food service programs, and capital project development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop operational plans for US Open After Action projects, US Open food service program, capital project development, and After Action Report Management.
- Assist the Chief Operating Officer (COO), NTC, and Managing Director, Event Services, in the planning and execution of special projects.
- Manage industry vendors and agencies to develop, troubleshoot, and complete special projects.
- Work with facility and grounds directors to implement and manage structural and operational needs for US Open Sponsor Activations.
- Research, analyze, and summarize After Action Reports, creating a report with recommended corrective actions.
- Assist in the management and implementation of projects and new initiatives for After Action meetings.
- Organize, oversee, and monitor all phases of capital project work.
- Participate in the development of the US Open and NTC year-round foodservice program, evaluating past performance and developing improvements.
- Collaborate with Levy to ensure concessions areas requiring repair and maintenance are addressed.
- Assist with the procurement and buyout of FF&E needs for major projects and maintain an up-to-date inventory system.
- Oversee Premium Experiences including stadium court usage, private parties, and corporate outings.
- Communicate and partner with other USTA entities to ensure success of US Open activations and special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Event Management
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand and assess logistics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software and Google Workspace

- Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) bonus up to 5%
