About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Float to provide outstanding customer service and manage various administrative tasks across multiple outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Process referrals
- Schedule patients
- Complete the intake process
- Perform data entry
- Verify insurance and obtain authorizations
- Review benefits with patients
- Collect copays
- Arrive and schedule patients
- Generate billing reports
- Generate closing reports
- Greet patients
- Answer phones
- Operate the front office of outpatient centers
- Support therapists and therapy assistants
- Perform daily cash balancing
- Make weekly banking deposits
Requirements
- Must be organized, adaptable, and able to work well with others or independently.
- Required to travel to multiple outpatient clinics.
- Required to travel to other locations as needed.
