About the Role
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative, hospital-employed anesthesia team providing comprehensive perioperative care in a modern community hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient evaluations
- Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and provide post-anesthesia care
- Provide anesthesia services for procedures including Endoscopy, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and ENT
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based anesthesia practices and patient safety standards
- Respond to perioperative emergencies as needed
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and procedural documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New York
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
