About the Role

As a Key Account Manager in Operations at DSV, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry. You will work closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction and oversee the operational aspects of their shipments. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and meet operational goals
  • Oversee the operational aspects of client shipments, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
  • Develop and implement account strategies and plans
  • Analyze account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and present reports to clients and internal teams
  • May oversee the work of other account managers or support staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in key account management in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Experience with supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
  • Experience with international logistics and customs regulations
  • Experience with sales and business development
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred.
