About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, this role owns cash and liquidity management, including daily cash positioning and forward-looking liquidity planning. The position ensures accurate forecasting, efficient funding processes, and strong stakeholder engagement. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, evolving environment, contributing to system implementation, process design, and long-term treasury strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own Group liquidity and funding, including daily cash positioning, forecasting, and funding assumptions to support decision making
- Lead FX exposure management and hedging activity, with support for interest rate derivatives where required
- Act as key contact for funding, managing facilities utilisation and intercompany funding arrangements
- Drive improvements in liquidity efficiency, reducing idle cash and enhancing returns within risk appetite
- Lead Front Office treasury systems (TMS) design and delivery, including liquidity, forecasting and FX workflows, testing, and go-live readiness
- Deliver treasury transformation and automation initiatives, enhancing cash forecasting, analytics, and processes using data and AI while ensuring strong controls and auditability
Requirements
- Professional treasury qualification (ACT/AMCT) or working towards
- Strong corporate treasury cash management experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management (e.g. CASS 5)
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems and financial systems (ERP/data environments)
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Proactive, adaptable self-starter, comfortable in evolving environments
