About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our preschool team, working alongside a team of certified Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, and Certified Teacher Assistants to support children's care and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and instruction to preschool children, ages 3 to 5 years.
- Support the development and education of preschool children within inclusive classrooms.
- Teach developmentally appropriate academic and social skills to prepare children for kindergarten.
- Create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management.
- Set and reinforce classroom expectations and routines.
- Prepare goals and instructional materials.
- Coordinate curriculum implementation with the preschool team.
- Communicate with team members, administrators, and parents regarding children's development and behavior.
