About the Role

We are looking for a US or UK qualified lawyer with experience in production work to join our vibrant and innovative team at Fever’s global headquarters in Madrid, Spain. This role involves advising on a wide range of legal issues to ensure that our event productions are executed smoothly and in compliance with legal and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of agreements across content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements.
  • Continuously improve contract templates and processes.
  • Support business and production teams by identifying legal risks and designing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate the smooth execution of events and content initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct legal research and apply findings to operational facts.
  • Deliver clear, actionable guidance to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Manage diverse legal projects.
  • Oversee contract workflows.
  • Maintain legal databases.
  • Assist with internal compliance, including on intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory matters.
  • Support incident management and dispute resolution efforts.
  • Coordinate stakeholder responses.
  • Prepare and update internal templates, legal guides, and documents.
  • Participate in preparing and delivering training, memorandums, and presentations to employees or other members of the Legal Department on legal matters.

Requirements

  • Be a qualified US or UK barred lawyer.
  • Have 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house in an experience-economy and/or live production company.
  • Top-tier law firm experience is a plus.
  • Be a solution-oriented and strategic thinker with strong business judgment.
  • Be capable of balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
  • Be able to take ownership and prioritize appropriate resources to support multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Be an effective communicator with emotional intelligence.
  • Deliver clear advice to executives, business and creative teams.
  • Be a self-motivated and adaptable team player.
  • Be eager to embrace change and contribute to a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
  • Be looking to have an impact and work nimbly.
  • Be prepared to move to Madrid, Spain.
