About the Role
Plan and deliver digital content, optimizing website journeys and supporting council objectives. You will contribute to the development and rollout of a new digital content strategy, focusing on the website and intranet.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver digital content considering best user journeys.
- Review, optimize, and improve website areas to enhance user journeys and support council aims.
- Support the development and rollout of the new digital content strategy.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of published digital content within the Council’s content management system.
- Engage in content creation, including directing messaging, editorial, and tone of voice.
- Liaise with and support service-based content editors to ensure webpages are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support and work alongside a diverse range of people.
Requirements
- Confident writer.
- Good problem solver.
- Experience in CMS content publication.
- Flair for creative editorial.
- Eye for accuracy.
- Ability to ensure quality and consistency of published digital content within the Council’s content management system.
- Keen to get involved in content creation, including directing messaging, editorial and tone of voice.
- Ability to liaise and support service-based content editors to ensure webpages are accurate, kept up to date and serve residents well.
- Great people skills.
- Experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people.
- Weekend working is required.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
- Must complete the application fully.
- Supporting statement must cover how the applicant meets each person specification criterion.
