About the Role
As a Schadenprüfer / KFZ-Sachverständiger (m/w/d), you will be part of our expert team, inspecting automotive damage claims internally. You will ensure that repair calculations, cost estimates, and invoices are technically correct, economically sensible, and compliant, contributing significantly to the quality and efficiency of our digital claims management.
Responsibilities
- Review and correct automotive damage documents and claims, particularly cost estimates and invoices.
- Technically evaluate repair methods and accident repairs.
- Review German and Italian automotive damage files to ensure technical and economic accuracy.
- Communicate and coordinate technically with workshops.
- Calculate and evaluate repairs using systems such as DAT, Audatex, and manufacturer systems.
- Ensure inspection quality, quantity, and content consistency.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the automotive field, e.g., as a bodywork specialist, painter, automotive mechatronics technician, or equivalent, with a journeyman's certificate.
- Several years of practical experience in automotive accident repair.
- Very good knowledge of repair calculation and experience with DAT, Audatex, or manufacturer systems.
- Experience as a claims inspector or automotive expert is advantageous.
- Good Italian language skills, both written and spoken, are a must.
- Confident PC user with common applications.
- Clear communication, structured work approach, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Initial expert experience or a master craftsman's certificate is a plus.
