About the Role
The Systems Engineer will join EG's Systems Infrastructure team, responsible for all technology layers from networking to servers and application services. This role offers exposure to modern technologies, robust component design, and automation, with opportunities for growth into managing large projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day system administration
- Supporting end-user systems
- Design, implementation, operation, and support of the environment
- Conduct independent research and propose solutions to emerging problems and improvements to current processes
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in CS, EE, or related field
- 1-5 years professional experience in a technology-related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly
- Linux server administration
- Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.)
- Public cloud experience (particularly AWS)
