About the Role
As an Educational Tour Consultant, you will manage a geographic territory in the United States, acting as a partner to educators to create international travel programs. This sales role intersects with marketing, customer retention, operations, and product innovation. You will develop a roadmap for sustainable growth, resolve business challenges, and collaborate with international colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience. The sales strategy focuses on long-term relationships and consultative conversations, with comprehensive onboarding, training, and career development support provided.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a geographic territory of existing and prospective clients through high-volume phone calls (50-60 per day) and strategic outreach.
- Work with middle and high school teachers to launch international travel programs.
- Prospect, generate leads, and follow up to acquire new customers.
- Grow existing key accounts to involve more students and educators in international travel.
- Identify, develop, and execute opportunities to drive territory growth.
- Forecast and achieve key account metrics, including monthly and quarterly sales projections.
- Refine sales techniques and support customers via email, phone, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
- Coach teachers on building and executing successful tour promotions.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team for a smooth customer experience and territory growth.
- Handle incoming phone calls from teachers regarding tour-related questions or events.
- Support the emergency line during work hours for traveling teachers during peak times.

Salary/Compensations
- First-year on-target earning potential of $60,000 (base $50,000, $10,000 bonus potential)
- Uncapped bonus for exceeding sales goals
- OTE increases to $70,000 after 12 months
- Opportunity to apply for senior sales position with $85,000 OTE after 24 months
