About the Role
As an Account Executive in the Healthcare Practice, you will support high-impact communications programs for healthcare clients, driving disease awareness, amplifying data milestones, and activating social and influencer programs. You will manage day-to-day account activity, contribute creative ideas, and execute strategic programs in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondence.
- Develop a solid understanding of client business and their competitive environments.
- Create thumb-stopping social media content and provide basic social media guidance for various platforms.
- Collaborate with studio and creative teams to develop compelling content.
- Conduct media relations efforts, including media monitoring, flagging trends, developing media lists, pulling analysis reports, and conducting media outreach.
- Support daily interaction with clients and prospects.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve client objectives.
- Help develop strategic recommendations.
- Anticipate challenges and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations.
- Previous experience within healthcare or pharma is preferred.
- Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of the MLR process, including proficiency in using platforms such as Veeva.
- Basic understanding of data/regulatory processes (e.g., clinical trial phases, FDA approvals).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Curiosity and comfort with integrating AI tools into communications and workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work as a member of a team and take ownership of tasks.
