About the Role

Drives growth across diverse sectors within the built environment, focusing on applications beyond renewable energy and data centres. This role expands market share for medium-voltage switchgear and digital integration solutions, positioning them as critical enablers of efficient, resilient, and future-ready infrastructure. The specialist owns the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and customer engagement through to proposal development and order handover, delivering commercially sound, technically aligned solutions. The role emphasizes building long-term partnerships, identifying untapped opportunities, and unlocking value in essential infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve volume, mix, and profitability targets for medium voltage switchgear and digital integration solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships, understand customer needs, ensure a positive experience throughout the sales journey, and manage issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain sales plans and forecasts; monitor pipeline health and implement recovery actions when needed.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities across the commercial and industrial segments.
  • Effectively use switchgear configurators, pricing tools, and other sales/budget preparation systems to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive offers.
  • Support marketing activities and communicate value propositions aligned with strategy.
  • Manage sales processes, documentation, and CRM updates (Salesforce desired) support collection and order handover activities.

Requirements

  • HND in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of medium-voltage switchgear, digital integration, modular e-House solutions and SCADA.
  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, ideally within the electrical infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative solution-selling skills.
  • Full UK driving licence, valid for use in the UK.
