About the Role
This role offers an atypical work-life balance in the construction industry, providing modern structures and opportunities to successfully complete work with fewer weekly hours. You will manage exciting high-rise construction projects for a successful, medium-sized general contractor with over 100 years of history.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of an assigned construction project across all sub-processes and work steps concerning deadlines, costs, and quality.
- Direct communication with clients (external) and the construction site team.
- Project-related personnel deployment and planning.
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of site managers, construction managers, and foremen.
- Management of the contract file, including changes (supplements).
- Negotiation and awarding of subcontractor services and approval of cost changes.
Requirements
- Degree or further education as a civil engineer/architect or technician/master craftsman.
- For entry as a junior project manager: several years of experience as a construction manager in turnkey construction.
- For entry as a project manager: several years of experience as a construction manager and project manager/senior site manager/project manager/construction project manager in turnkey construction.
- Reliability, management competence, communication skills, determination, empathy, and enjoyment of work.
- Good to very good German language skills (a German language course can be paid for by the company if needed).
- Class B driver's license.
