Responsibilities
- Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments daily to ensure timely delivery.
- Advise customers on daily service-related issues, including customs detentions and ETA for flights/trucks.
- Develop excellent working relationships with customers on a daily basis.
- Analyze repetitive operational problems and develop service solutions.
- Inform customers of the latest booking times and required documentation.
- Book shipments using the Marken booking system.
- Support other departments, including Customer Relationship Management, Transport, Operations, and Sales.
- Provide customers with Marken Service information.
- Share potential customer information with the Sales department.
- Develop a partnership with customers by understanding their specific industry and logistical requirements.
- Provide high-quality customer solutions.
- Engage in extensive contact with Customer Representatives.
- Engage in extensive contact with local and regional Aviation and other relevant operational locations.
- Engage in extensive contact with Operations/Logistics divisions Marken London.
- Participate in scheduled meetings to discuss service performance and concerns.
- Form working relationships and understand other departments within the customer's organization.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager or Branch Manager.
Requirements
- Complete and thorough understanding of Aviation/Airline Networks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills are essential.
- Flexibility in working hours is required.
- Weekend coverage is required in Customer Services.
