Responsibilities

  • Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments daily to ensure timely delivery.
  • Advise customers on daily service-related issues, including customs detentions and ETA for flights/trucks.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with customers on a daily basis.
  • Analyze repetitive operational problems and develop service solutions.
  • Inform customers of the latest booking times and required documentation.
  • Book shipments using the Marken booking system.
  • Support other departments, including Customer Relationship Management, Transport, Operations, and Sales.
  • Provide customers with Marken Service information.
  • Share potential customer information with the Sales department.
  • Develop a partnership with customers by understanding their specific industry and logistical requirements.
  • Provide high-quality customer solutions.
  • Engage in extensive contact with Customer Representatives.
  • Engage in extensive contact with local and regional Aviation and other relevant operational locations.
  • Engage in extensive contact with Operations/Logistics divisions Marken London.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings to discuss service performance and concerns.
  • Form working relationships and understand other departments within the customer's organization.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager or Branch Manager.

Requirements

  • Complete and thorough understanding of Aviation/Airline Networks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Flexibility in working hours is required.
  • Weekend coverage is required in Customer Services.
