About the Role
We are seeking friendly and reliable male carers to provide one-to-one care for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury in Clapham, SW4. This role involves supporting an active individual in his own home, assisting with personal care, mobility, and equipment usage. Professionalism, good hygiene, and a respectful approach are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care
- Support mobility
- Assist with equipment such as hoists and CPAP
- Ensure the smooth running of the client's day
- Accompany the client on daily outings
Requirements
- Must be a confident driver with a clean driving license
- Willingness to drive the client's adapted vehicle
- Ability to help with regular community outings
- Kind, dependable, and confident in supporting someone in their own home
- Willingness to learn
- Common-sense approach
- Ability to follow the client's lead
- Must wear clean clothes on arrival and indoor shoes in the house
