About the Role
Metyis is growing and seeking a Data Science Intern to join our Data and Analytics team in Amsterdam. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced data professionals, apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and contribute to solving client-facing data science and analytics challenges within a knowledge-sharing environment.
Responsibilities
- Solve Data Science and Analytics problems for clients.
- Apply theoretical machine learning knowledge and analytics in practice.
- Balance taking on tasks from the project.
- Engage in knowledge sharing with Strategists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a quantitative Master's program with a focus on data analysis (e.g., econometrics, mathematics, physics, business analytics, exact sciences).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, programming languages (e.g., R, Python), machine learning, and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, R, Shiny).
- Availability for a full-time 6-month internship.
- Curiosity and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Possess theoretical frameworks from Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Any analytical work experience is a plus.
