About the Role
As a working student in the Partnerships team, you will support the promotion of innovative project ideas at the intersection of journalism, media education, technology, and art within a non-profit organization. You will gain insights into a public-benefit media house and contribute to strengthening democracy through investigative journalism.
Responsibilities
- Conduct content research, mappings, and briefings on funding opportunities and conditions.
- Assist in planning and executing information events for funders and the donor community.
- Undertake administrative tasks such as document filing and contact management.
Requirements
- Possess a valid certificate of enrollment.
- Demonstrate organizational talent and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exhibit strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders, a solution-oriented approach, and initiative.
- Ideally possess initial knowledge of the German funding landscape, understand current challenges for non-profit organizations, and have an interest in journalism and media.
- Have native-level German language skills; very good English skills are desirable.
- Previous experience with administrative tasks such as database maintenance or document filing, performed diligently, reliably, and independently.
- High motivation to support CORRECTIV's goals, alignment with company values, and eagerness to learn.
