About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess resources and scope of work on projects to ensure they meet project goals.
  • Assign resources to jobs for projects.
  • Assure Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
  • Assure information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources.
  • Develop a dashboard that tracks resource allocation and identifies potential workload imbalances.
  • Develop an object library strategy.
  • Develop the client's digital handover strategy.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable standards for clients.
  • Implement governance and assurance processes.
  • Improve existing client relationships to increase winning new contracts and extend current contracts.
  • Liaise with the Mace Programme Lead to understand client needs and ensure compelling bid responses aligned with strategic goals.
  • Monitor digital handover to completion.
  • Participate in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
  • Raise job requisitions to identify and recruit new talent for the BIM team.
  • Research compliance with new regulations and governance.
  • Review and assess bid responses for compliance with client requirements and alignment with MACE Consult's capabilities.
  • Review Autodesk construction cloud account management and stay up to date on the latest Autodesk developments.
  • Review BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Review current technology solutions and research new solutions to improve the BIM process, including emerging technologies.
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
  • Upskill the client team, Mace project managers, and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Requirements

  • Level 7 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Integrated master’s degree, for example Master of Engineering (MEng), level 7 award, level 7 certificate, level 7 diploma, level 7 NVQ, Master’s degree, for example Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), postgraduate certificate.
  • Advanced Understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, common data environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classifications.
