About the Role
As a Junior Event / Project Manager, you will transform concepts into clear plans and plans into smooth shows, with precise preparation, clean coordination, and attention to detail. You will manage timings, trades, and agreements, identify priorities early, and keep all stakeholders on track. You will contribute your own ideas, provide support where needed, and work reliably and solution-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Work in interdisciplinary project and pitch teams, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of live events from concept to completion.
- Independently research suitable locations, hotels, artists, moderators, technical and catering partners, and giveaways based on creative concepts, focusing on unique aspects.
- Prepare ideas and research findings in clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations to expedite decision-making.
- Obtain and compare quotes, negotiate conditions within budget and target guidelines, and make selections in close coordination with project management.
- Support schedule and direction planning, create timings, briefings, and packing lists, and keep all participants on track.
- Ensure smooth operations during on-site production and contribute to a strong participant experience.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Event Management, Tourism, Event Technology, Communication Studies, or Business Administration with a Marketing focus, or a comparable qualification in the event sector.
- One to two years of relevant practical experience in live communication or an event agency, including initial insights into event planning, execution, and accounting.
- Basic technical understanding of live productions and curiosity for new tools and workflows.
- Good sense for target groups and guest management: recognize needs and guide participants safely through the event.
- Structured, conscientious, and independent work style, with the confidence to seek support when needed.
- Team spirit, commitment, and enjoyment in taking responsibility for own task packages.
- Multitasking with a cool head: work in changing teams on multiple topics, set priorities wisely, and maintain humor and good spirits.
